Guided Panorama Route Scenic Day Tours
Scenic Panorama Route
Natural Splendour
The Panorama Route is a world-renowned scenic drive that showcases the dramatic landscape of the Mpumalanga escarpment. This guided tour takes you right to the edge of the famous Blyde River Canyon. You will take in sweeping, uninterrupted views stretching across the Lowveld from the high vantage point at God's Window, and explore the fascinating geological formations at Bourke's Luck Potholes, where decades of swirling river water have carved deep, cylindrical rock pools.
Further along the route, you will stand before the Three Rondavels, massive, round mountain peaks that tower high above the canyon floor. The tour also includes a stop to photograph the cascading water at one of the region's spectacular local falls. For visitors looking to add a final thrill to their day, an optional stop at the Graskop Gorge Lift Co. can be arranged at an additional cost, allowing you to descend directly into the indigenous forest gorge.
